We have so many opportunities for volunteering at HCPT:

Volunteer helpers support vulnerable children and adults during our pilgrimages to Lourdes. Find out more about volunteering on our Easter or Summer pilgrimages.

Specialist volunteers support HCPT in areas such as fundraising, leadership, liturgies, music, nursing, safeguarding and spirituality, either on pilgrimage in Lourdes or at our head office in Rugby, Warwickshire. If you have skills in these areas please contact your local group or contact our HQ.

Senior volunteers help lead the organisation.

Are you passionate about HCPT and interested in leading strategies for growth and development within the Met East (Brentwood Diocese) or London Beaumont region? Are you dynamic, energetic and like a challenge? If you answered yes to any of these questions this may be an opportunity of interest to you.

Vacancies have become available for the role of Regional Chair in the Met East and London Beaumont regions. This Regional Chair is responsible for facilitating the efficient function of the region and plays a pivotal role in working with the Board of Trustees, Chief Executive and staff in the future strategy of HCPT. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take on a leadership role with HCPT and help to grow and develop the Met East region.

This role will enable you to develop your leadership capabilities and grow as individuals whilst making a valuable contribution to our HCPT community. The only criteria to be eligible to apply is you must have travelled to Lourdes with HCPT within the last three years.

If you decide you would like to proceed in applying for the position, please complete this online application form. You will need to include the contact details of a regional representative (Group Leader, Deputy Group Leader, or other regional officer) who supports your application. They will then be contacted directly to provide further information. Once your application has been submitted, HQ will arrange an interview with two trustees and all approved applicant(s) will be put forward for the election process to begin.

We encourage you to read the following guidance document "Volunteering with HCPT: Regions and their roles". This document sets out the functions and core processes for regions within the HCPT and those who exercise functions within those regions.
