Easter Service Group
710 is an HCPT Service Group which is based from the North East – but have no geographical base for our helpers who come from all over the UK.
Set up in 2012 by Group Leader Martin, 710 is one of the few service groups of helpers who are over 18 – and is not a school group. We are a very flexible group and welcome helpers for one year or 10 – however long you want!
We understand that following on from travelling with a school group, or if you are in university away from your own region, then travelling with a family group may not be possible due to time or locations. 710 offers an opportunity to travel to Lourdes without these commitments, whilst still getting to be part of the pilgrimage and help with the family groups as needed. As an over 18s group, we can directly help within the family groups as extra support, as well as being involved with the service group duties.
We offer the stepping stone between school group and family group, and by doing this we hope to keep more young people in the HCPT family.
Travelling with 710, you can be part of a team that supports the pilgrimage, whilst also having a group that is flexible to you.
