Group 13 has been one of the longest running HCPT groups, taking around 10 to 12 children each year. Some of our helpers have been part of the group for over 30 years, with some having had three generations of family become helpers, yet always with ever changing personnel. All helpers have helped maintain a consistent "tight environment" with both children and helpers benefitting from each other's personalities, with some quite remarkable stories of change and happiness that the children have experienced. The impact has led many helpers into the medical or education profession, with some going on to lead other groups in and out of Lourdes.
