Bartrès Villa
General information
The Bartrès Villa belongs to HCPT - The Pilgrimage Trust. The Villa is situated in the village of Bartrès, which is 4 kilometres from Lourdes. It was in this village that Saint Bernadette spent much time with her relatives and helped on the farm. The house is about 1 kilometre from the centre of the village. It is close to the international shrine at Lourdes, about two hours drive from coastal resorts such as Biarritz and St Jean de Luz and a 1.5 hours from the mountain village of Gavarnie. It is less than a mile from Hosanna House, HCPT's holiday home for children and adults with disabilities.
The Villa is built in a style typical of the region, with a sloping roof, balcony, shuttered windows, a large garden and stunning views to the mountains.
