The Pilgrimage Trust
What can HCPT do for you?
Do you know someone who would like a holiday in the south of France, staying with a Group of people, and where ability and background are not an issue?
Do you know someone who would like to help out on a holiday such as this?
Do you know someone who would like to help HCPT to continue to provide these holidays?
If your answer is yes to any of these, please read on.

HCPT is a charity which organises Pilgrimage holidays to Lourdes in France for people of all ages and abilities. All HCPT passengers travel in Groups, led by an appointed Group Leader. There are extensive reference and interview procedures which, along with Enhanced CRB disclosures form part of our child and vulnerable adult protection policy.

For children:
A week in Lourdes with an HCPT Group at Easter is a week filled with fun and laughter - and can also provide a well earned week of respite for carers back home! The volunteer helpers not only provide care and friendship through the week in Lourdes, but actively raise the money through the year to cover all the costs of taking the children to Lourdes. This is how the Groups can offer a free week's holiday, with full care, at no cost to you.

We have put together a page of information for you to find out what happens in the HCPT Groups, what your child would be doing and and what he or she would get from the experience.
There is also a downloadable factsheet with all the details on one page.

For adults
There are two Groups at Hosanna House each week from the end of April till the end of October. Each Group has an average of 43 people in the Group, There is no formal distinction between those who are there to help and those who need help, every member of a Hosanna House Group has an equal role to play - and the same form to complete and same fare to pay. Some Groups arrange fundraising to help cover the costs where help is required. Hosanna House is HCPTs home in Lourdes. Facilities here are among the best in the area. Have a look through the Hosanna House pages for more details.

For families
The Bartrès Villa is open and ready for business! Families are welcome to book the villa for up to 18 people. There is no minimum stay, and we can help you arrange the flights to get there and cars if you need to hire in France. Have a look at the Bartrès Villa pages for more details.

For potential helpers
We have put together a page of information for you to find out what is involved in helping in a Group, what would be expected of you and what you would get from the experience. There is also a downloadable factsheet with all the details on one page.
HCPT - The Pilgrimage Trust took over 5,000 people to Lourdes last Easter. The associated organisations from overseas - IHCPT, ASCPG, and the Groups from West Indies, Slovakia, Romania and Croatia brought the overall total to over 6,000. None of this would be possible without the generous help and assitance from donors and benefactors. Have a look at how you can help us.
If these pages do not tell you what you need to know, please email us and ask any further questions.
We look forward to hearing from you!
