Polo Day - 6 July 2008

Thu, 15 May 2008 10:40:00 GMT - On the 6th July 2008 we are arranging a charity event with the aim of raising enough money to pay for well over 350 children to go to Lourdes with HCPT.The event is the final of the Eduardo Moore medium handicap polo match at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club. The tickets will be £500 per 4 people, to include a prestigious picnic hamper for 4, and free champagne and bar all afternoon. See the HCPT Polo webpage for more information.

Fri, 09 May 2008 16:25:00 GMT - BOOKING FORM NOW AVAILABLE! - In preparing for the 150th Anniversary of the Apparitions, Mgr Jacques Perrier, Bishop of Tarbes and Lourdes, identified 12 apostolic themes or missions that are especially relevant to Lourdes. He asked certain Lourdes pilgrimage organisations to develop one of those themes as a contribution to the celebration of the 2008 Jubilee of the Sanctuaries at Lourdes. HCPT and Barcelona Hospitalite (who have an ongoing involvement with people with disabilities throughout the year) were honoured to accept the mission now entitled "The Church in Mission alongside People with Disabilities" // read more

Papal visit to Lourdes

Thu, 01 May 2008 10:45:00 GMT - The Catholic Conference of French bishops are happy to announce that Pope Benedict has accepted an invitation to visit France to mark the 150th anniversary of the apparitions of Lourdes. The dates for the visit have been set for the 12-15 September.
