John White
HCPT is sad to announce the death of John White. John died peacefully this morning (04.12.07) after a long illness. He made a great contribution to HCPT as an Easter and Hosanna House Leader, Regional Chair, Governor and Vice President. He will be sadly missed by his many friends.  
 
John will be received at St Peter's Church, Leicester at 7pm on Thursday 13th December. The funeral will be held at Mother of God Church at 11am Friday 14th December. Directions below

Directions to St. Peter’s Hinckley Road, LE3 0TA
From M1 South
Leave the M1 at junction 21.
At the roundabout, take the third exit sign posted A5460 Leicester.
At the next roundabout take the second exit sign posted A5460 Leicester. (Narborough Road)
When you pass the Iceland store on your left hand side (approximately 2 miles from the M1), get in to the left hand lane as the right hand lane is a ‘right turn only’ lane and the road narrows to a single carriageway.
After another 0.5 miles, turn left at the traffic lights onto Hinckley Road.
Immediately on your right is a Nat West Bank and a HSBC Bank.
St. Peter’s Church is next to the banks.
The car park is to the rear of the Church.
Take the first right after the Church (St. Andrew’s Road).
Turn right again on to West Holme Street.
Distance from the motorway = approximately 2.7 miles
 
From M1 North
Leave the M1 at junction 21.
The slip road leads straight onto a busy carriageway. Move into the second lane following signs for A5460 Leicester.
At the roundabout take the second exit sign posted A5460 Leicester. (Narborough Road)
When you pass the Iceland store on your left hand side (approximately 2 miles from the M1), get in to the left hand lane as the right hand lane is a ‘right turn only’ lane and the road narrows to a single carriageway.

Drive to the end of the M69.

From M1 South
Leave the M1 at junction 21.
At the roundabout, take the third exit sign posted A563/A5460 Leicester
Move in to the far left hand lane sign posted A563 Ring Road.
Get in to the right hand lane and take the third exit at the roundabout sign posted A563 Ring Road, Leicester North & West, City Centre.
Continue along this road for 2.5 miles. (Lubbesthorpe Way/New Parks Way)
Continue straight on at the first roundabout. (New Parks Way)
Continue straight on at the second roundabout.
At the third roundabout take the third exit. (Glenfield Road)
Mother of God Church can be seen between the second and third exits on the roundabout.
Take the first road on the left (Greencoat Road).
Car park is on the left.
Distance from the motorway = approximately 3.5 miles
 
From M1 North Leave the M1 at junction 22.
Take the first exit A50 Leicester.
CAUTION – SPEED CAMERAS ALONG THIS ROAD (At least 2 within a 100m stretch of the road)
Continue along this road going straight on at the roundabouts.
After approximately 5 - 6 miles you will pass Leicestershire County Hall on the left hand side.
At the next roundabout turn right onto A563 New Parks Boulevard.
Continue along this road for approximately 1 mile.
At the roundabout, turn left.
The church is your left hand side at the roundabout.
Take the first road on the left (Greencoat Road).
Car park is on the left.
Distance from the motorway = approximately 8 miles
 
From M69
At the end of M69
Take the second exit at the roundabout, sign posted A563/A5460 Leicester
Move in to the far left hand lane sign posted A563 Ring Road.
Get in to the right hand lane and take the third exit at the roundabout sign posted Leicester North & West, City Centre.
Continue along this road for 2.5 miles. (Lubbesthorpe Way/Braunstone Way)
Continue straight on at the first roundabout. (New Parks Way)
Continue straight on at the second roundabout.
At the third roundabout take the third exit. (Glenfield Road)
Mother of God Church can be seen between the second and third exits on the roundabout.
Take the first road on the left (Greencoat Road).
Car park is on the left.
Distance from the motorway = approximately 3.5 miles
