HCPT - The Pilgrimage Trust offers around 2,000 disabled children a Pilgrimage holiday to Lourdes each Easter, making it the largest children's Pilgrimage from the UK. The children come from all walks of life and may belong to any religious background, or none at all. The care needs of each child are assessed before the holiday, and the helpers work hard to make sure that everyone can fully join in.

Volunteer helpers are of all ages and types and many come year after year to enjoy the HCPT experience. Whilst some of our volunteers have professional skills - doctors, nurses and youth workers - manyare just "extra"-ordinary people with the willingness to join in, help out, work hard and have fun.
