HCPT takes children on the basis of their medical or social needs, and raises the funds for the sponsorship of all the children. Parents are welcome to make a contribution to the Trust, if they wish.

Leaders and helpers pay their own costs, but a concessionary scheme may be available for those who find it difficult to pay the full amount.

HCPT does not ask that the cost of the trip is paid by parents / guardians of any of the children on the Pilgrimage. Instead the Groups take on a busy programme of fundraising activities throughout the year to ensure the costs for all the children are covered.

For Easter 2011, the cost of sponsoring each child is £710
