Prayer Cycle - June 2013

The walls of the Grotto have been made smooth over the decades by thousands of pairs of hands running along the wall bringing with them the prayer of each individual – prayers of joy, thanksgiving, hope and sometimes despair. Those prayers made in the silence of each individual’s heart reveal the deep faith of the thousands of pilgrims who have gone before us: a faith which has shaped the very rock of the Grotto itself.

Today, the Trust is made up of thousands of pilgrims, both Summer and Easter pilgrims, who travel to Lourdes together in faith. Whose faith and belief in the message of Our Lady of Lourdes has helped shape the Trust we know and love today. As we move towards the sixtieth anniversary (the Diamond Jubilee) of the Trust: we are all called to a time of renewal for the Trust. A time when all the pilgrims and supporters of the Trust are asked to pray for the success of the strategic plan helping to shape the Trust’s future.
